Aaaaaah, I'd always have to play through twice before getting a good New Game+ What matters is getting a Grade multiplier on the second, then you're set~

[identity profile] low-on-mana.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
*hugs* I hate the kinda cold that makes your bones shiver. :x
NOTHING YOU DO CAN MAKE THEM WARM AGAIN. DX

Is Tales of Vesperia worth the buy? I was considering it but I wasn't sure. :x

/barging into convo

Yes, ToV is DEFINITELY worth it. It's a game that can take hours upon hours, days upon days to complete, but in the end, it is entirely worth it to buy. Keeps you entertained until you have to Grade Farm (which is where Nyarumi is at right now...and it's rather tedious, but can help is second play). Excellent game (as is all of the Tales Games).

What Voltanis said. :3

15,450 will suffice for a second play, but remember this - In the Labyrinth of Memories AND in the Colosseum, Boss characters WILL STILL GIVE 10 Grade for beating them. Up the difficulty to Hard and give 2-3 (depending on how many of them you got) Blue Dice to your characters and it adds up fast. You can get a New Game+ with 15,450. (I just calculated it. If you want to know what I threw in, just ask, but it all adds up to be 15,450.) Also, the Rita Grade Farm Trick is still an option, if you want to consider it. It is EXTREMELY risky though as some battles can give you 300 Grade (PER BATTLE WHICH TAKE ABOUT 10 MINUTES EACH), but some can really pay off and yield 1,500 Grade (which is, as you can tell, 1/10 of what you need). No matter which technique you use though, it'll work in the end~

hmmm
okay
unfortunately I only have one blue dice :(

and yeah i think I'll guive the Rita trick a try again...

You are able to get another.

(1) Pick one up from a treasure chest in the Forest of Keiv Moc.
(2) Get one from the Cowz Kid in Mantaic (TIMED)
(3) Synthesize one from your Normal Dice.

[identity profile] tategamiwolf.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
The problem is I have no clue what/which one I have.

...probably the Keiv Moc one since I know I screwed up on the Cowz Kid thing.

[identity profile] voltanis.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 06:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay then you'll need 4 of the item a GentleGolem will drop. They can be found near the desert in this weird enclosed area in the mountains. You will need the Kroza Dew or whatever the little kid gives you in Myorzo for doing the Dragon Races.

[identity profile] tategamiwolf.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)
urgh, the races... :|

well I'll try soon.

[identity profile] voltanis.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
They're easy once you get the hang of them~

[identity profile] jonjonxd.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 11:40 am (UTC)(link)
What do you have to do that ups your "grade"?

What's the difference in new game+s?

[identity profile] tategamiwolf.livejournal.com 2010-01-04 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Every battle gives + or - to your total grade depending on how well you did. (unless you're on easy difficulty, which does nothing to grade)

Then when you start a newgame+ there's a grade shop where you can use your grade to buy lots of useful stuff, like keeping items/skills/titles, or multiplying the exp gains by as much as 10 :D

I know. The freezesnap is insane. O.o
