okay so i spent MORE of my time once i woke ... watching more nostalgia critic despite disagreeing with him the more i saw.
i mean YEAH OKAY i can accept that movies like Space Jam and Kazaam were, looking back, honestly stupid, but his reviews of movies like Pokemon: The First Movie and Fern Gully pissed me off because he either didn't know squat about the subject or purposely ignored some of the logic provided by the movie to insult it. and every time i go look at the comments and freaking EVERYONE just strokes NC's dick about it
OH YEAH I HATED THAT MOVIE AS A KID TOO
OH MAN THAT MOVIE REALLY WAS STUPID
etc, etc
NO. it was aimed at kids, you weren't an adult with all your knowledge and logic and wtfever, you were a little shit who didn't know much about the world. it is meant to entertain you, and it may not make much sense while it does so. also i really doubt kids are gonna be a good judge of ACTING.

and to add to the 'not knowing the subject' his review comparing the animated LoTR to Jackson's LoTR he offhandedly mentions something about Sauron being a man. (and that being the reasoning behind his preference of cartoon!Sauron who was only seen as a silhouette, as opposed to wacky super-armored movie!Sauron)

I know, I know. But surely you can't assume the DARK LORD SAURON who nearly screws Middle-Earth over with a RING could be human? or an elf, or a dwarf, or a hobbit?
