It's all text messages and Facebook entries these days, isn't it? Maybe you're from a time or a world where letters are still being written or maybe you're just saying fuck it to your computer and your phone and to the fast paced contact methods of modern day society. Write a letter to someone you rarely see or can't for whatever reason see right now, because of distance or maybe personal issues that are more easily addressed on paper anyway. Come on, you don't need an excuse, just write that damn letter!

Pacific Rim AU
We always thought alien life would come from the stars. But it came from deep beneath the sea, a portal between dimensions in the Pacific Ocean. Something out there had discovered us. The first Kaiju made landfall in San Francisco. The second attack hit Manila. Then the third one hit Cabo. Then we learned this was not going to stop. In order to fight monsters, we created monsters of our own. We needed a new weapon. The Jaeger Program was born. Two pilots, our minds, our memories, we were connected. Man and machine became one.

Instructions:

'how much would it take?'

Selling out is generally seen as the act of reneging on one's principles or morals for the sake of money. This could be going back on what you believe in, betraying someone close to you, or changing something about yourself or your work for the sake of a check.

So, how much would it take for you to sell out? How many zeroes would have to be on that check for you to turn in someone close to you? How many cars would make becoming someone unrecognizable worth it?

Those good-doers might say they'd never sell out, but we're talking thousands. Millions. Surely that might change things.

How to Play
—Leave a top-level comment with your character and some monetary value. If they'd sell out for a bag of Doritos, we want to hear it.
— Reply to others and judge their lack of morals.
— Tempt one another with scenarios. You might say never, but there's got to be a situation where that changes.
