aaaaaaargh
so like
i decide to format the drive i'm not using
so i do the obvious thing: run, cmd, format c:
takes a long time
gets done
i check c: ... everything is still there
uh
so i ask my friend who's good with computers
and he tells me another way to do it

...well it just failed :/
said it couldn't complete formatting
and now he's offline so i can't bug him
ugh
so i'm deleting manually
and there's crap that claims to be in use when i KNOW it's not >:|
